Pennar Industries Ltd has posted a profit of ₹13.1 crore, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2018, up from ₹10.7 crore, during the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, registering a growth of 22.8 per cent. The company engaged in engineered steel solutions, has registered net revenues of ₹466.5 crore in the quarter, up 8.6 per cent from ₹429.7 crore during the corresponding quarter of last year. Segment wise, the stand out performers were railway products which grew by 98 per cent and industrial components which grew by 38 per cent.
