The seventh edition of Madurai Book Fair will be held between August 30 and September 9 at Tamukkam grounds in the city.
District Collector Ansul Misra speaking to presspersons on Tuesday said that the event has been big draw and this year, there will be 212 stalls with participation from 151 publishing houses on diverse topics and areas.
More than a lakh of books will be on a display to cater to various age groups and tastes with a discount of 10 per cent. There will be various competitions and cultural events every day for school and college students.
