Karnataka’s tourism policy for 2015-2020 will be out today. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is expected to launch the investor-friendly tourism policy which offers incentives and concessions across 17 tourism products. It also promises stakeholders ease of doing business in the State, with fewer rounds of government departments for clearances.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will begin a two-day visit of Rajasthan, during which he will hold a padayatra at Hanumangarh. Elections to about 125 civic bodies in the State are due next month.

The Vyapam scam will paralyse Madhya Pradesh today with four Left parties jointly observing a State-wide bandh in protest against the scam and mysterious deaths of people related to the scam. The Congress has also called for a bandh seeking the resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

CA Final and Common Proficiency Test (May/June 2015) results are likely to be declared today. The results will be available by 2 pm on caresults.nic.in, the official website. A merit list will also be announced after declaration of the results. The final examination merit list will consist of top 50 students securing at least 55 per cent. Keep your fingers crossed!
