The Government on Saturday proposed to extend its Visa on Arrival (VOA), launched last year, to 150 countries.
This follows the success of the scheme, that resulted in an increase in tourism, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said presenting the Union Budget on Saturday.
The Government had extended the facility to 43 countries in November 2014. Prior to it, the scheme was available for 12 countries only.
