Cox & Kings Global Services (a subsidiary of Cox & Kings Ltd) has announced the start of its Schengen Visa and Residence Permit Application Centres for the Norwegian Embassy in India. As part of the agreement, CKGS has opened Visa application centres in all the major cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Pune and Kochi.

According to Ms Ann Ollestad, Norwegian Ambassador to India, “The number of Indian tourists arriving in Norway has been on a steady incline and our partnership with CKGS will make it convenient for Indian nationals to acquire a Schengen Visa.”

CKGS will provide services such as disseminating visa and residence permit related information approved by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India as well as pre-scrutiny of documents and acceptance of visa applications and passports from the general public.

The applicants have to fill the Visa Application form online (https://selfservice.udi.no) and make an online payment of the visa fees for which they will receive a payment acknowledgement. An appointment has to be booked online (www.no.ckgs.com) for submission of documents. After securing an appointment, the applicant has to submit the printed application form, printed payment acknowledgement, passport and supporting documents. Once the visa application has been processed by the Norwegian Embassy, an SMS notification is sent. Applicants can track the status of their application through the ‘Track your visa application’.
