The special court hearing the Satyam Computer Services scam case has adjourned the trial proceedings to August 11. The court is likely to come up with a date for pronouncing the judgment in the five-year case.
All the 10 accused in the case, including Satyam former Chairman and founder B Ramalinga Raju, were present when the proceedings were deferred to August 11.
The court had heard over 200 witnesses and vetted over 3,000 documents in the case that had rocked the nation in 2009 when Ramalinga Raju had confessed to have fudged the accounts to the tune of about ₹7,000 crore.
The CBI had been ordered to probe the case as the Government appointed a temporary board with experts from different fields to save the company from sinking. A few months later, Tech Mahindra had won the mandate to run the company.
Satyam was completely absorbed by Tech Mahindra last year.
