Earthquake in Iran kills 87, over 400 hurt

A 6.2-magnitude earthquake killed 87 people and injured 400 in northwestern Iran today, state TV said. The quake hit the towns of Ahar, Haris and Varzaqan in East Azerbaijan province at 4:53 pm local time.
