In yet another incident that was reminiscent of 2008 bomb blast of Indian Embassy in Kabul, a rocket landed on Monday night inside the premises of the Indian mission in the Afghan capital. Nobody was injured in the incident.
“A rocket landed in the premises of our Embassy in Kabul a while ago causing minor damage to a structure at rare side of the Embassy compound. No fire or casualties,” tweeted Raveesh Kumar, Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs.
He added that India's Charge d' Affaires there had informed that all the Embassy employees were safe.
A reason for the rocket landing there could not be ascertained immediately.
