A seminar on the subject “Get Ready for Corporate Life” was recently held at the G. R. Damodaran Academy of Management, Neelambur, Coimbatore.
Ashok Jacob Philip, Regional Head, Enterprise Business, Tata Teleservices Ltd, Chennai, was the key speaker on the occasion.
During his interaction with the students, Philip said: “You MBA students should undertake a SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threat) analysis of yourselves. You should consistently improve your aptitude, skill-sets and confidence level so as to grab opportunities and perform better.”
Philip exhorted the students to develop a positive attitude. He urged the students to expose themselves to the latest news.
“You should regularly read business newspapers as well as the general news dailies to update yourself on the latest in the industry and also in general. It will help you to perform better in interviews,” he said.
The Principal of GRDAM, C. K. Kotravel Bharathi, Placement Officer P.G. Suraj, Professors and MBA, M.Phil and Ph.D students participated in the event.
