Franklin Templeton India has announced a tax-free dividend of Rs 2 per unit in its Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund. The fund which was incorporated in 2005 is an open-ended diversified equity fund.
The record date for the dividend is March 23 and any purchases on or before this date will be eligible for the dividend, said a release from the company.
Under the dividend reinvestment plan, the dividend declared will be reinvested in the Fund at the NAV of March 26and unit holders will be allotted additional units for the dividend amount.
