Nicobar store at The Chanakya

Nicobar, forever on our wishlist, has increased its appeal by opening a new store in Delhi, along with a travel-themed cafe called Nicocarra~. In collaboration with cafe Caara, the cafe will focus on seasonal eating, and creatively using local produce. Their new Sri-Lanka inspired line of apparels, and homeware is also available at the new store in Delhi, as well as in stores across the country in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Puducherry.

New jewellery line at Outhouse

Frankfurt New Domer Quarter

The old town of Frankfurt used to be the center of the economic and political life of the city. Here markets and fairs were held, kings elected and emperors crowned. The rebuilding of the old town revives the history of the DomRömer district in its predominantly medieval structures. Frankfurt is reclaiming an integral part of its history: the DomRömer Quarter, accessible to visitors from June and to celebrate a grand opening from September 28-30. After years of construction, the new old town between Römer City Hall and Emperors’ Cathedral will open up the “new old heart” of the city centre. A festive three day opening ceremony will be held to commemorate the historical occasion accompanied by many cultural events with exhibitions at neighbouring museums, modern, classical, thought-provoking, surprising concerts and theatre performances.

Raymond Veil AC/DC collection

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil in its music icons series has launched the freelancer AC/DC Limited Edition, paying tribute to the legendary rock-and-roll band AC/DC. This exclusive watch incorporates the in-house developed Calibre RW1212 movement, allowing onlookers to view the rocking “Alternating Current/Direct Current” balance within the timepiece. The 3,000 pieces and numbered freelancer AC/DC Limited Edition is endowed with the in-house, self-winding movement, the Calibre RW1212. To reinforce the Rock and Roll attitude of the timepiece, the hours are marked with studded indexes. The black dial features a textured pattern recalling the AC/DC high voltage bolt graphics.
