Animal healthcare player Hester Biosciences has posted a 29 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 5.99 crore for the first quarter ended June 2016, against Rs 4.66 crore in the same period last year.
Net sales increased 23 per cent to Rs 30.13 crore from Rs 24.53 crore.
Earnings per share during the first quarter stood at Rs 7.05 (Rs 5.48).
The company shares touched 52-week high of Rs 825 before trading lower at Rs 783 on the NSE.
