Inox Wind Ltd has bagged a 20 MW wind power project, which would be set up at Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. The order has been placed by PTC Energy, a 100 per cent subsidiary of PTC India.
It is the first order placed by PTC Energy with Inox Wind and the project is due to be commissioned by March 2016. At the project site Inox already has common infrastructure facilities, which are capable of evacuating 200 MW of electricity.
Inox will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle. At the site, 10 units of its 2 MW DFIG 93.3 rotor diameter wind turbine generators would be set up.
