Pepper prices ruled steady on limited activities. Re-processors were selling to exporters 535-540 GL pepper at ₹635 a kg. High Range pepper, albeit in small volume, was being traded at ₹650 while that of Rajkumari at ₹655. Pepper from Sakleshpur/Chikmagalur in Karnataka was available via Wayanad at ₹635. On the terminal market, 27 tonnes of pepper were traded at the average price of ₹639, market sources told Business Line . Spot prices ruled steady at ₹63,900 (ungarbled) and ₹66,900 (garbled) a quintal. Export prices were at $11,400 a tonne cf for Europe and $11,650 for the US.
