The promoters of GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd have reported inter-se transfer of shares. If it was the Chairman of the GVK Group, GVK Krishna Reddy, who transferred his holding of about 24 per cent in the listed entity to his wife G Indira Krishna Reddy, couple of years ago, it was the turn of the latter to transfer part of the shares and interest to Shalini Bhupal and G.V.Sanjay Reddy, daughter and son respectively.
According to filings made to the stock exchanges, Shalini Bhupal has received about 4.98 per cent equity from G. Indira Krishna Reddy by way of gift, that is without any consideration.
Likewise, G.V.Sanjay Reddy, too has increased his holding in the company following transfer of shares through inter-party transfer deals.
The promoter group currently holds 54.25 per cent equity in the company.
GVK shares closed the trade flat at Rs 12.71.
