Tyre maker MRF and Tulip Telecom will announce their financial results this week. While the former’s result has been scheduled for Thursday, the latter will release it on Friday. As natural rubber prices fell during the September quarter, analysts expect a strong show from MRF.
The performance of Tulip Telecom will be keenly watched as the stock took a severe hit after a few of its lenders had liquidated the pledged shares of the promoters in the open market during the last quarter. The sellers include ECL Finance, Religare Finvest and JM Financial. The stock crashed about 60 per cent during July-September.
