Malaysian State-owned Petroliam Nasional Bhd, (Petronas) is keen to buy a stake in Indian Oil Corporation’s under-construction five-million-tonne a year LNG import terminal at Ennore. Petronas is the second firm after Petronet LNG to have expressed interest in the ₹5,151-crore Ennore LNG plant, in which IOC holds 95 per cent stake. The plant is expected to be completed by June 2018. Investors will closely monitor the development.
