Rolta India has won a contract from a power utility company in the UK. In a disclosure to the exchanges, the company said it won a multi-year, multi-million pound geographical information system (GIS) contract from UK Power Networks that delivers electricity to London, the South East and the East of England. The seven-year contract was established to manage and update its spatially-enabled network asset information. Shares of Rolta India jumped about 11 per cent at ₹85.15 on the NSE.
