Over 1,000 delegates are expected to participate in the sixth edition of TiEcon Kerala 2017 scheduled to be held here on November 10 and 11 at Le Meridien.
The two-day event on the theme 'Kerala – an entrepreneurial destination' is organised by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), the largest not-for-profit global organisation fostering entrepreneurship.
Sashi Tharoor, MP, will inaugurate the event on Friday and the inaugural ceremony will be attended by Shyam Srinivasan, Managing Director and CEO, Federal Bank Ltd; Azad Moopan, Chairman and Managing Director, Aster DM Healthcare; Rajesh Nair, President, TiE Kerala; MSA Kumar, Senior Vice-President, and Ajit Moopan, Vice President, TiE Kerala.
Moving ahead from the process of building the entrepreneurial ecosystem, this year the effort is to leverage the synergies between prominent educational and research institutions in the State and the developments in various industry sectors to transform the State to a premium entrepreneurial destination, Rajesh Nair said.
