Dodla Dairy Ltd, a Rs 700-crore turnover company, has obtained a global energy management system certification from TUV SUD Asia.
It covers two of the company’s dairy units at Nellore and Palamaner in Andhra Pradesh.
Dodla Dairy has a combined milk processing capacity of 7 lakh litres/day. Its operations span across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The company manufactures and markets four varieties of liquid milk and milk products.
In a press release Mr B.V.K Reddy, General Manager, Dodla Dairy, said the company has become the first dairy in India to obtain the certification.
