GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, a company involved in the business of Yellow Pages and free-classified advertisements in the country, launched two new services — ‘getitFREEADS' and ‘callGETIT' — in Mangalore on Wednesday.
Addressing presspersons during the launch of these products, Mr Sidharth Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, said that consumers in Mangalore can dial 4444444 for getting both ‘getitFREEADS' and ‘callGETIT' services.
Giving details about ‘getitFREEADS', he said consumers can place free advertisements in various categories such as household goods, jobs, vehicles, properties and so on.
Regarding ‘callGETIT', he said this service gives users access to any local information on business across leading cities in multiple categories.
Asked about the business model of these services, Mr Gupta said the service is free of cost for the non-commercial user. If a commercial user wants to sell his product he has to pay.
In due course of time, a lot of non-commercial individuals will use this service to place their advertisements. It will also attract commercial users to place their advertisements on it, he said.
Both the services can be accessed by consumers by dialing 44444444 from anywhere across India, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nick Hazell, Advisor – Board of Directors, GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, said that these services have an edge because of the size of company's database and quality of structured information.
