Online travel company Makemytrip.com has tied up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to operate direct charter flights to Phuket.
The direct flights from Delhi to Phuket will be operational from May 10, the company said here today.
“Indian travellers have developed a keen sense of adventure and want to explore newer destinations. Thailand is a key attraction for Indians,” MakeMyTrip CMO, Mr Mohit Gupta, said here.
The fifth such offering, the flights will be operational once a week. The travel company already operates charter flights to Maldives, Andamans, Ladakh and Bhutan.
Kingfisher Airlines will be the airlines partner for the Makemytrip flight, the company said.
