A Joint Action Committee comprising of 65-70 trade unions of Gurgaon-Manesar belt has decided to observe an ‘in-factory satyagraha' on June 17 and a two-hour tool down strike on June 20.
The Committee, formed in support of Maruti's striking workers at the Manesar plant, finalised its next course of action, as the strike entered its twelfth day, with no solution in sight.

“Close to two lakh workers of the industrial region will observe ‘in-factory satyagraha' on June 17 – a hunger strike without stopping production.
“On June 20, they will observe a two-hour tool-down strike,” the AITUC Secretary, Mr D.L. Sachdev, told Business Line .
“The situation is the same as Tuesday. There is no production happening,” a company spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, tripartite negotiations between the Haryana Government, MSI management and the workers are in-progress.
Hooda meets top execs
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, met Maruti Suzuki's top executives, including Managing Director and CEO, Mr Shinzo Nakanishi.
The Chief Minister has said that there will be no second union allowed at Maruti, a person close to the development said.
The workers had softened their earlier stance of the scheduled two-hour tool down on Wednesday following an appeal by Mr Hooda.
By Wednesday end, the company would have lost Rs 380 crore in revenue and production loss of 11,000 cars. The company's shares closed at 1,210.50 on BSE on Wednesday.
