Mr B. Surender Mohan assumed office as Chairman and Managing Director of Neyveli Lignite Corporation from July 1. Prior to this, he was holding the post of Director (Mines) in NLC from May 1, 2008.
Mr Mohan, 56, has over three decades of experience in the mining industry. He started his career in Rourkela Steel Plant, and he worked in the mechanised captive iron ore mine at Orissa. Later, he moved to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, says a NLC press release. — Our Bureau
