Bajaj Auto has recorded a seven per cent increase in sales in October at 3.95 lakh units, even after its Pantnagar plant in Uttarakhand lost production of around 25,000 motorcycles during the month due to a curfew.
Motorcycle sales rose six per cent to 3.51 lakh units, while three-wheeler sales were up eight per cent at 44,191 units.
Exports for the second biggest two-wheeler maker in the country increased 20 per cent to 1.31 lakh units.
