Dalmia Bharat Ltd, manufacturer of Dalmia Cement, has reported a 94 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at ₹184 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, against ₹95 crore in a year-ago quarter. Total income from operations stood at ₹2,433 crore, up 15 per cent from ₹2,109 crore of the same quarter last fiscal. Its EBITDA grew eight per cent to ₹552 crore (₹512 crore). For the year ended March 31, 2017, its net profit grew by 81 per cent at ₹345 crore (₹190 crore). Its total income from operations stood at ₹8,348 crore against ₹7,262 crore, an increase of 15 per cent. EBITDA was higher by 19 per cent at ₹1,902 crore (₹1,592 crore).
