Here is some good news for all fans of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. If you wish to own a cricket bat autographed by the Indian captain, it is now just a few mouse clicks away.
Online marketplace eBay India, in association with leading apparel brand Reebok, is offering the bat through a charity auction. The bidding for the auction starts at Rs 1, eBay said in a statement today.
The auction from the proceeds would go to an NGO, CRY India, which is dedicated to secure the basic rights of underprivileged children.
The charity auction, which started yesterday, would end on March 30.
“We are proud to announce our partnership with Reebok and CRY. We are positive that the auction for the bat autographed by M S Dhoni will prove popular with cricket fans across the world. I encourage everyone to bid generously and partake in this noble cause,” eBay Senior Manager (Pop Culture), Ms Deepa Thomas, said.
