Eriez Magnetics India Pvt Ltd, part of the US-based Eriez Manufacturing Co Ltd, has inaugurated its facility in Ambattur, near here.
The 36,000-sq.ft. facility will manufacture magnetic separators, vibratory feeders and suspended electromagnets. A press release from the company, quoting its President, Mr Timothy Shuttleworth, said that Eriez Magnetics has a long-standing relationship with India which started three decades ago with McNally Bharat Engineering Ltd.
The release adds that the opening of the new facility further emphasised the group's commitment towards providing ‘solution providers' to its customers. He said that customers look at Eriez for solutions whether in mineral processing or food applications or pharmaceutical requirement.
