After 100 rounds of bidding for the e-auction of private FM radio phase III, the cumulative provisional winning price reached ₹1,147 crore against their aggregate reserve price of ₹459 crore. Bidding for 94 channels in 56 cities has been on for 25 days. The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting said allocation stage will continue till the bids are received for any of the 135 channels. Bidding will recommence on Monday.
