At the close of the 26th day of bidding, cumulative provisional winning price closed at ₹1151.6 crore at the e-auction of the first batch of the private FM Phase III channels. According to Ministry of Information & Broadcasting , 94 channels in 56 cities became provisional winning channels with cumulative provisional winning price of about ₹1151.6 crore against their aggregate reserve price of about ₹459 crore. This is nearly 109 per cent higher than the total reserve price for the first batch which was set at ₹550.18 crore. So far, 104 rounds of bidding have been completed and bidding will resume on Tuesday.
