In a bid to provide uninterrupted power, the US multinational GE has said it has implemented the first Predix asset performance management (APM) solution for the thermal business of Tata Power.
This is one of two deals that GE won in India to optimise around 8 GW of Tata Power’s thermal and renewable energy power portfolio using digital solutions.
It is implementing the reliability centred maintenance solutions for Tata Power’s thermal assets across nine sites for seven years. The renewable deal is still under execution, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
