GVK Biosciences, a drug discovery research & development organisation, has established an isotope labelling facility, which it claimed is the largest in the country.
The company has received approvals from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) to carry out synthesis activities.
This good laboratory practices compliant facility has the latest equipment to cater to the requirements of companies engaged in the fields of drug discovery and development, agro and veterinary chemicals, cosmetics, perfumery and specialty studies.
According to Manni Kantipudi, CEO, GVK Bio, said the facility is in response to “Several of our customers requested us to extend our chemistry services to include isotope labelling services.’’
GVK Biosciences is into contract research and provides a broad spectrum of services related drub discovery.
