Hitachi Home and Life Solutions Ltd today net loss of Rs 7.11 crore for its second quarter ended 30 September, 2013 due to increase in expenses. The company had reported net profit of Rs 29 lakh in the July—September quarter of last fiscal.
Hitachi logged net sales of Rs 159.75 crore during Q2 of 2013—14, up 15.56 per cent compared to Rs 138.23 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Overall expenses during the quarter were at Rs 171.49 crore, an increase of 22.61 per cent as against Rs 139.86 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s share closed at Rs 112.05 today, down 1.28 per cent from previous close on the BSE.
