E-commerce player Infibeam Incorporation Ltd on Friday announced the signing of an agreement with US-based Sears Holdings Management Corporation. Sears Holdings Management Corporation is an American holding company and the owner of retail store brands such as Sears and Kmart. Ahmedabad-based Infibeam will provide online e-commerce platform services to Sears, including advanced machine-learning algorithms to enable automated products classification at Sears Marketplace, according to a press release. Sears is a leading integrated retailer focussed on seamlessly connecting digital and physical shopping experience. As of FY2016, it reported revenues of more than $25 billion, operating with more than 1,500 stores through its subsidiaries, including Sears, Roebuck and Kmart Corporation, with full line and speciality retail stores across the US and Canada.
