IVRCL Ltd has signed an MoU with Royal Smals, a Netherlands company, to collaborate in lake rejuvenation and water projects in India and other countries.
The joint effort will be mutually beneficial to both the companies, IVRCL informed in a statement.
The MoU was signed by IVRCL CMD E. Sudhir Reddy and Royal Smals CEO Frans Linden during the visit of Netherlands Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, to India on June 6. Besides Rutte, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Lilianne Ploumen, and Minister of Agriculture, Sharon Dijksma, were present at the signing of the memorandum of understanding.
"The key objective in signing the MoU is to promote cooperation and exchange of information, knowledge and expertise between IVRCL and Royal Smals in the field of water management, lake rejuvenation. This MoU opens a window of opportunities, offering international exposure and enabling us to learn global best practices,” Reddy said.
