Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, the company which operates fast food retail chain Dominos Pizza, has posted a 66.7 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 18.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 as against Rs 11.37 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
The company's net sales stood at Rs 185.63 crore, a 58.48 per cent increase from Rs 117.13 crore over the same period last year.
“We have generated good sales momentum in the third quarter with a strong operating performance for our business. The key factors to our performance are — strong brand, constant innovation, customer satisfaction, effective and efficient operations,” Mr Ajay kaul, CEO, Jubilant FoodWorks, said.
The company said during the quarter it witnessed a same store revenue growth of 35.7 per cent over the corresponding period last fiscal. At present, it operates 364 food outlets in the country and had opened 25 new stores during the quarter.
Of the set target of 70 stores for FY2011, the company has successfully fortified its network with 58 new stores inaugurated across the country.
