KEC International, an RPG group company, has secured orders worth Rs 740 crore spread across its transmission, power systems, railways and cable businesses.
In transmission, the company has got orders from Bangladesh US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. In power systems, it has orders from Malaysia and Kenya.
It has also secured an order for setting up power supply, signaling and telecommunication systems on a turnkey basis, in consortium with a CIS-based company, in Turkmenistan. The project is worth Rs 588 crore of which KEC share is Rs 192 crore.
KEC also got orders for power and telecom cables valued at Rs 212 crore.
