Livpure unveils range of smart air, water purifiers

In talks with retailers for pan-India presence

Livpure a brand of Luminous Water Technologies Limited today launched a wide range of Smart Internet and wi-fi-enabled air and water purifier systems for domestic applications.

It has also come out with an air-purifier for cars and sports utility vehicles.

The Gurgaon-based company, which has a manufacturing facility at Manesar, outlined plans to manufacture these air purifies at the plant from middle of next year. It is currently sourcing them from its select suppliers made to the company specifications.

Launching the air purifiers, Rahul Goel, President, Livpure, said, “These products are designed and developed in-house to suit the specific requirements in India and taking inputs from customers. By introducing the water and air-purifiers, which can be controlled using a mobile phone, we are adding to the convenience of people.”

Sachin Tendulkar brand ambassador

The company, which has Indian cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador, plans to come out with a new TV commercial early net month.

To start with, the company has tied up with online retailer Flipkart for air purifiers, and is at an advanced stage of finalising arrangements with major retail chains for sale of Livpure products.

As a company focussing on Health and Wellness, Livpure, sought to highlight the growing concern of air and water pollution in busy urban cities and towns in the country. Mentioning about the pollution concerns, Goel said average human life can be extended with better quality of indoor air.

Naveen Kapoor, Vice president, sales, said, “The smart water purifiers have been designed for convenience and are cost effective.”

Goel said, “Our family spends an average of 12 hours in confined places (home). Indoor air is over 10 times more polluted than outdoor air that can lead to various allergies, asthma, respiratory and other health problems. Average human life can be extended with a better quality of indoor air.”
