Sterling Holidays has appointed Miguel Munoz as Head of Resort Operations. Miguel is a veteran in the vacation ownership industry and has been actively involved in resort operations in Europe for the last 22 years.
He has worked across segments of the leisure hospitality industry, with stints in internationally recognised hospitality chains such as Meliá Hotels International, Steigenberger Hotel Group and large vacation ownership players such as Vacation Care International, Club La Costa Resort and Hotels, Interval International Ltd., and Petchey Leisure.
Sterling Holiday Resorts (India), incorporated in 1986, pioneered vacation ownership in India. Currently, Sterling has an inventory of 1,404 rooms spread across 19 resorts located in Corbett, Darjeeling, Dharamshala, Gangtok, Goa, Karwar, Kodaikanal, Lonavala, Manali, Munnar, Mussoorie, Ooty, Puri, Thekkady, Yelagiri and Yercaud.
The company also has 15 additional sites where it plans to add new resorts in the coming years.
