Reliance Industries Ltd has selected Technip, a French technology supplier and engineering contractor, to implement its Refinery Off-Gas Cracker (ROGC) plant.
The company in a press statement said that plant will be among the largest ethylene crackers in the world and would be using refinery off-gas as feedstock.
The products from the plant would be utilised for the new downstream petrochemical plants being built at Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex in Gujarat.
