Reliance Industries Ltd has appointed Texas-based Fluor Corporation to provide project management services, at its Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex, according to a statement issued by the company.
Services would be provided to petroleum coke gasification units, refinery off-gas cracker, downstream petrochemical plants, and captive power plant.
Fluor will also perform engineering and procurement services for the pet coke gasification project. The project will produce fuel and hydrogen for the expanded refinery and petrochemical complexes. It will also power the captive power plant in the refinery.
