Wind turbine manufacturer, Suzlon Group on Wednesday announced it has installed its 10,000 th turbine. Since its commencement of operations in 1995, the Group has installed 14,000 MW of turbines.
Chairman of the Group, Tulsi Tanti in a media statement said that Suzlon will continuously work at reducing the cost of energy and by 2020 it could be brought down by 15 per cent, he said.
The products such as S97-120m hub height hybrid tower and the soon to be launched S111-2.1 MW turbine are engineered for low wind sites, the statement said.
