Liquor manufacturer, Tilaknagar Industries (TI) has announced the appointment of KS Raju as President – Production. An industry veteran with 37 years of experience, he has previously been associated with Radico Khaitan and the UB Group in senior positions.
Raju will be operating out of Hyderabad and will be a part of TI’s concerted efforts to strengthen its operations while reinforcing its presence in existing and new markets.
“The management recast comprises an important part of our business strategy and will give an added impetus to the company’s growth”, said Amit Dahanukar, Chairman & Managing Director in a press release.
In September, the listed company had also appointed Hardip Singh Grewal as Director of Sales and Operations and Benedict William as Head of Sales-Southern markets.
TI which recently signed an MoU with The Three Stills Ltd, a UK-based firm to manufacture and market premium blended scotch whiskey in the Indian market has both grain-based and molasses-based distillation units located in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.
The company owns five bottling units that are spread across five states -- Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa and Punjab. Besides, the company has bottling tie-ups with more than 20 units across India.
