Watch to jewellery maker Titan Industries said on Wednesday that it will henceforth be known as Titan Company Ltd.
The company also unveiled its new logo, Titan Star and said it will expand into making helmets and fragrances.
“We have 120 million customers, whose lives we have touched with our products ...From a watch maker to a watch maker and jeweller, now to a lifestyle company which has largest specialty retail footprint in this country — Titan watches became Titan Industries and now Titan Company Ltd,” Titan Company Ltd Managing Director Bhaskar Bhat said.
He said the reason behind the changeover was to help the company communicate effectively with their many stakeholders.
He also said the company plans to invest Rs 400 crore this fiscal in capex for product expansion as well as for setting new factories and increase the capacity of existing ones.
