Automotive manufacturer, TVS Motor Company, has reported an over 5 per cent dip in total sales for May 2012 compared to the corresponding period last year.
“TVS Motor Company registered total sales of 1,76,012 units in May 2012 against 1,85,930 units registered in May 2011,” a company release here said.
Total two-wheeler sales stood at 1,73,092 against 1,81,891 units and three-wheeler sales stood at 2,920 units compared with 4,039 units.
Exports stood at 22,817 units (26,168 units), the release said.
Cumulative sales for April-May, 2012 stood at 3,50,467 units against 3,53,674 units recorded in the previous comparable period, the release added.
