Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd has received the latest ISO 9001:2015 certificate, which was released less than three months ago.
It is first company within the Volkswagen Group worldwide to be certified ISO 9001:2015.
At the beginning of December 2015, TÜV India and TÜV Nord Group conducted a three-day audit at the Volkswagen Pune plant to check all the related processes of car production and engine assembly. The audit was initiated by the Quality Assurance department of VW India.
Dr. Andreas Lauermann, President and Managing Director, VW India said in a statement, “It gives me immense pride to be the first company within the Volkswagen Group to be acknowledged with this international certification.”
