Nitiraj Engineers, a manufacturer of electronic and mechanical weighing machines, has started constructing a new plant with an investment of ₹15 crore.
It performed the ground breaking ceremony at an eight-acre site at Awdhan near Dhule in Maharashtra. To be completed in one year, the plant will produce a slew of products including weighing scales, cash counting machines and digital meters.
Rajesh Bhatwal, CEO, Nitiraj Engineers, said the company’s production capacity of weighing scales will go up by 250,000 units from the existing 100,000, and push up revenues by ₹50 crore over two years.
The company is seeing good traction on business from government departments for the current year.

Established in 1989, Nitiraj Engineers has 13 branch offices across India with 430 dealers selling its range of products. It also has a modern plant at Parwanoo in Himachal Pradesh.
