Weak availability of soy seeds with crushers and improved demand in soy DOC have once again lifted soy oil prices with soy refined today rising to ₹745 for 10 kg, while soy solvent was quoted at ₹710-15.
Amid declining arrival, rally in soybean also continued with its prices in Indore mandis today rising to ₹3,800 (₹3,450-75 a quintal last week). Plant deliveries of soybean were also quoted higher at ₹3,850 a quintal. In futures, soybean witnessed higher circuit with its February and March contracts on the NCEDX today closing at ₹3,811 (up ₹146) and ₹3,839 a quintal (up ₹148) respectively. Soy DOC on the spot ruled at ₹26,500 a quintal on improved domestic demand.
