With both farmers and the traders remaining busy ahead of Diwali festival, arrivals of soyabean declined at the mandis in Indore leading to a sharp rise in prices. On Monday, soyabean rose to ₹3,300 a quintal. Compared to last week, soyabean is ruling ₹100 higher. Similarly, plant deliveries were also higher at ₹3,250-3,300 a quintal amid weak availability of the oilseed with the crushers. Soya oil ruled firm on decline in buying support. Soya refined fetched ₹760-52 for 10 kg, while soya solvent ruled at ₹722-25 for 10 kg. Soyamealwas at ₹27,500-28,000 a tonne on scattered domestic demand.
