Major coal producing states may expect to be substantially benefited by the revision of coal royalties as promised by the Finance Minister.
The states are Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattishgarh and Maharashtra.
Also the focus on coal-bed-methane production should improve the economic activity here.
